The Integrated Care Group has an exciting opportunity for qualified nurses to join our friendly, supportive, innovative acute medical and nursing team, whom are committed to providing and maintaining high standards of patient care.

 

Ward C10 deliver acute medical nursing care with a particular interest in Haematology. The Ward has 22 beds compromising of 3 teams, overseen by a dedicated duty coordinator/Sister. You will be looking after patients with acute medical conditions, haematology conditions, and cancer diagnoses.

 

If you are keen to develop your acute clinical care skills then this is the ward for you. We also work closely with the Haematology teams (including Clinical Nurse Specialist, Palliative care, Hospice). Ward C10 is modern, spacious, calm and clean with a dynamic, professional but fun experienced team who are able to support new team members

 

You will be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have an interest in acute nursing care within the Acute medical field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential. A flexible approach and the ability to respond to the demands of a rapidly changing acute clinical environment are also essential.

 

In return we can offer you a structured orientation programme with the support of our dedicated Ward Manager, supervisory ward sisters, advanced practitioner, specialist nurses, patient flow facilitation team and a team of dedicated specialist consultants. You will receive a supernumerary period to enable you to gain the skills and competencies required to care for acutely ill patients, and the team also provide dedicated clinical teaching sessions every month to support your revalidation and ongoing professional development.

 

Posts are offered on a full time and part time basis. The post requires flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the service to include bank holidays and weekends as required.

The cost of an Enhanced Disclosure will be £48.00, which includes a small handling fee.
