An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the cross-sectional imaging team here at ELHT.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Radiographers to broaden their skills and enhance their career in cross sectional imaging.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographer to join the Cross Sectional Imaging Team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will be a keen team player who has image quality and patient care high on their agenda with a flexible approach to working hours.

The department is set over 2 sites, Blackburn Royal and Burnley General and currently consists of 4 CT Scanners and 3 MRI Scanners.

The post holder will be expected to rotate across all the MRI and/or CT departments to support service and professional development with the opportunity to continue competence within General Radiography. This is a forward thinking Radiology department that supports Radiographer advanced practice, we have 3 CT Head Reporting Radiographers, 1 MRI Reporting Radiographer and 5 trained CT Colongraphy Radiographers.

You must have proven experience of an extensive range of MRI and/or CT procedures and a demonstrable high level of MRI and/or CT scanning knowledge.

You should have evidence of current ongoing CPD activities incorporating current advances in both CT and/or MRI.

You will have demonstrated the skills necessary to work as part of a small multidisciplinary team and have the ability to take the lead in the absence of Senior Colleagues.

Candidates should have a flexible approach to their working hours as this contract will be flexible across 7 day working.
