An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational manager to join the Theatre Directorate at East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust. Working as part of the Theatre Triad you will be responsible for the day to day operational management of theatres at the Royal Blackburn Hospital site. You will be part of a supportive team that helps create a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills and evidence of successful management and leadership of clinical services and teams. You will share our passion to improve patient care and patient safety.

You will have the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and will have an inclusive and compassionate leadership style which uses the wider team to achieve results. You will be a visible leader who will utilise a variety of approaches to communicate with the Directorate and Division. You will have the ability to manage complex issues through a range of approaches, work across a number of Directorates and prioritise competing pressures.
