Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
We have an opening for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fixed term post based at Burnley General Hospital and the post holder will be required to take part in the second on-call rota.
The Lancashire Womens & Newborn Centre is located on the Burnley General Hospital site and we provide satellite clinics across East Lancashire to ensure ease of access for the local population. We provide a full range of clinics in both obstetrics and gynaecology and all members of the team have a sub speciality interest. We have an outstanding reputation as a training unit and this appointment offers exciting opportunities in light of the major changes that have taken place in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology departments, with the new Centre opened in December 2010 and future plans to develop further Outpatient Gynaecology Services within the new purpose built Gynaecology Outpatient Department.
Candidates must have full registration with the GMC and meet all the necessary requirements of the person specification.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
