The MyMedical Project Manager will work in collaborative partnership to project manage the implementation of the MyMedicalRecord Software solution across the four major acute trusts based across Lancashire and South Cumbria. 

Using Prince 2 methodology while following the Project Life Cycle from Start Up through to Project Closure, the Project Manager will play an integral part in managing and delivering this project.

Working on a number of workstream simultaneously the Project Manager will have the ability to manage stakeholders expectations including the supplier customer relationship. Using relevant project tools the Project Manage will manage, monitor and report the project in terms of timelines, benefit realisation and delivery.

The role involves the ability to manage your own time as well as he ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


Work with project sponsors to define exact scope and expected benefits.

Create and maintain project documentation, including mandates, highlights, risks and issues.

Establish and maintain effective communication directly, with all key stakeholders during the project life cycle. Liaise directly with and negotiate with external suppliers.

Ensure milestone events are met and reported on.

Ability to use  Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project

Responsible for delivery of the project objectives, ensuring user quality objectives are met, and the completion of Project Closure.

Managing internal relationships to obtain appropriate project resources.

Using the appropriate format, present project status at relevant points to various individuals and groups including peers, stakeholders and project boards.

Where necessary create roll out plan and agree training schedules.

Contributing positively at all meetings including Project team meetings.
